Day 44 – Bangkok, Thailand

Today’s post marks the transition from New Zealand to Thailand, but also a major transition in landscape, climate, culture and religion. I spent my first day in Bangkok walking around with no particular direction or destination. I am slowly getting a sense for what is acceptable here as a tourist. What that means is I have been a bit hesitant to take photographs in some of the more populated and crowded markets as I don’t want to offend anyone by taking an unwanted photograph of them. I’m sure that I’ll get more comfortable with this, however my first days photographs are filtered as a result.
