Day 109 – Chandigarh, India

The following are all designed by Le Corbusier, except for the final one which is the Architecture Museum and was designed based on a pavilion of his. The first photograph is a view from the Secretariat building towards the rest of the capital complex followed with a view back to the Secretariat building. The third photograph is of the state parliament building which houses the assemblies of two different states in the one building. The fourth image is of Corbusier’s landscaping and one of his sculptures.

The fifth photo another sculpture by Le Corbusier that has become the sign of Chandigarh. The next two photos are of the High Court, followed by the Museum and the Architecture Museum.
