Day 112 – Delhi, India

The first four photographs are of Humayun’s Tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage site, which is locate in Delhi. It was constructed prior to the Taj Mahal, and is considered one of its influences. It is one of the first examples of the use of white marble and red sandstone together to create the decorative facades.

The second set of photographs is of the Lotus Temple, which is again located in Delhi. The Lotus temple is a temple for Bahai worship.
