Site, Structure, Light and Air, M.ARCH, UBC

The second week of our comprehensive design studio Roy and I continued our exploration of the experiential possibilities of a  Truth and Reconciliation Centre.  This time our section also includes exploration of the site, structure, light and air, and how these aspects of a building can create transcendent architectural qualities and spaces.  The site for the proposed Truth and Reconciliation Centre is on the University of British Columbia campus located in the sunken space between the Koerner and I.K. Barber libraries.
