Alec Ring, Founding Architect

Having originally grown up in Gravenhurst, ON, Alec has spent the last 20 years honing and developing his craft in Toronto, with a brief stint in Vancouver.  Alec holds a Master of Architecture from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Architectural Science from Ryerson University (now Toronto Metropolitan University). He is licensed to practice in Ontario. His work has been featured in publications such as Canadian Architect, Building Magazine, and The Plan Journal. Alec’s projects have earned various accolades, including a Canadian Architect Award of Excellence and a nomination for the Aga Khan Award for Architecture. With more than 15 years of experience in the Architectural field while working at firms across Canada, Alec has developed a broad expertise in diverse project typologies, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use mid and high-rise buildings; low-rise and single-family homes; retail spaces; community and faith-based projects; community-led design; and restoration/adaptive reuse.
